Springsteen New Lyrics Radio Nowhere With The New Video

Published by benz under Bruce News Edit This

Came across these lyrics for  Radio Nowhere Not Sure If they are valid But here they are

was trying to find my way home

But all I heard was a drone

Bouncing off a satellite

Crushing the last lone American night

(Chorus:)

This is Radio Nowhere

Is there anybody alive out there

This is Radio Nowhere

Is there anybody alive out there

Is there anybody alive out there

I was sitting around a dead dial

Just another lost memory to file

Dancing down a dark hole

Just a-searching for a world with some soul

(Chorus)

I just wanna hear some rhythm

I just wanna hear some rhythm

I just wanna hear some rhythm

I just wanna hear some rhythm

I want a thousand guitars

I want pounding drums

I want a million different voices

Speaking in tongues

(Chorus)

I was driving through the misty rain

Just a-searching for a mystery train

Bopping to the wild moon

Trying to make a connection with you

(Chorus)

I just wanna hear some rhythm

I just wanna hear some rhythm

I just wanna hear your rhythm

I just wanna hear your rhythm

(repeat until end)

Published by benz under Bruce News Edit This

‘Magic,’ Bruce Springsteen’s new studio recording and his first with the E Street Band in five years, is set for release by Columbia Records on October 2, 2007. Produced and mixed by Brendan O’Brien, the album features eleven new Springsteen songs and was recorded at Southern Tracks Recording Studio in Atlanta, GA.

‘Magic’ Song Titles:

1. Radio Nowhere
2. You’ll Be Comin’ Down
3. Livin’ in the Future
4. Your Own Worst Enemy
5. Gypsy Biker
6. Girls in Their Summer Clothes
7. I’ll Work for Your Love
8. Magic
9. Last to Die
10. Long Walk Home
11. Devil’s Arcade

‘Magic’ is the first new studio album by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band since 2002’s GRAMMY Award-winning, multi-platinum, number one album ‘The Rising’ (Columbia Records), which was also produced by O’Brien.

Bruce Springsteen’s longtime manager Jon Landau said, “‘Magic’ is a high energy rock CD. It’s light on its feet, incredibly well played by Bruce and the members of the E Street Band, and, as always, has plenty to say. It’s also immensely entertaining. ‘Magic’ is the third collaboration between Bruce and Brendan O’Brien and is a culmination of their very productive creative relationship.”

Ramrod One Of Bruces Best

Published by benz under Bruce Videos Edit This

Lyrics Below

Hey, little dolly with the blue jeans on I wanna ramrod with you honey, till half-past dawn Let your hair down sugar and pick up this beat Come on and meet me tonight down on Bluebird Street I’ve been working all week, I’m up to my neck in hock Come Saturday night I let my ramrod rock She’s a hot stepping hemi with a four on the floor She’s a roadrunner engine in a ‘32 Ford Late at night when I’m dead on the line I swear I think of your pretty face when I let her unwind Well look over yonder see them city lights Come on little dolly ‘n’ go ramroddin’ tonight Come on, come on, come on little baby Come on, come on let’s shake it tonight Come on, come, come on little sugar Dance with your daddy and we’ll go ramroddin’ tonight Hey, little dolly won’t you say you will Meet me tonight up on top of the hill Well just a few miles cross the county line There’s a cute little chapel nestled down in the pines Say you’ll be mine little girl I’ll put my foot to the floor Give me the word now sugar, we’ll go ramroddin’ forever more

Blinded By The Light Great Song lyrics

Published by admin under Bruce Videos Edit This

Lyrics Below

Madman drummers bummers and Indians in the summer with a teenage diplomat
In the dumps with the mumps as the adolescent pumps his way into his hat
With a boulder on my shoulder, feelin’ kinda older I tripped the merry-go-round
With this very unpleasing sneezing and wheezing the calliope crashed to the ground
Some all-hot half-shot was headin’ for the hot spot snappin’ his fingers clappin’ his hands,
And some fleshpot mascot was tied into a lover’s knot with a whatnot in her hand
And now young Scott with a slingshot finally found a tender spot and throws his lover in the sand
And some bloodshot forget-me-not whispers daddy’s within earshot save the buckshot turn up the band

And she was blinded by the light
Cut loose like a deuce another runner in the night
Blinded by the light
She got down but she never got tight, but she’ll make it alright

Some brimstone baritone anti-cyclone rolling stone preacher from the east
He says, “Dethrone the dictaphone, hit it in its funny bone, that’s where they expect it least.”
And some new-mown chaperone was standin’ in the corner all alone watchin’ the young girls dance
And some fresh-sown moonstone was messin’ with his frozen zone to remind him of the feeling of romance

Yeah he was blinded by the light
Cut loose like a deuce another runner in the night
Blinded by the light
He got down but he never got tight, but he’s gonna make it tonight

Some silicone sister with her manager’s mister told me I got what it takes
She said I’ll turn you on sonny, to something strong if you play that song with the funky break,
And go-cart Mozart was checkin’ out the weather chart to see if it was safe to go outside
And little Early-Pearly came in by her curly-wurly and asked me if I needed a ride.
Oh, some hazard from Harvard was skunked on beer playin’ backyard bombardier
Yes and Scotland Yard was trying hard, they sent a dude with a calling card, he said, Do what you like, but don’t do it here.
Well, I jumped up, turned around, spit in the air, fell on the ground
Asked him which was the way back home
He said take a right at the light, keep goin’ straight until night, and then, boy, you’re on your own.

And now in Zanzibar a shootin’ star was ridin’ in a side car hummin’ a lunar tune
Yes, and the avatar said blow the bar but first remove the cookie jar we’re gonna teach those boys to laugh too soon.

And some kidnapped handicap was complainin’ that he caught the clap from some mousetrap he bought last night,

Well I unsnapped his skull cap and between his ears I saw
a gap but figured he’d be all right

He was just blinded by the light
Cut loose like a deuce another runner in the night
Blinded by the light
Mama always told me not to look into the sights of the sun
Oh but mama that’s where the fun is

LADIES FIRST

Published by benz under Bruce News Edit This

Looks Like Patty is holding off her tour to travel with Bruce.Stay tuned.

Patti Scialfa admits the prospect of releasing her third solo album just in front of husband Bruce Springsteen’s next project is “challenging.”

“It’s just the way it worked out,” Scialfa, who releases “Play It As It Lays” on Sept. 4, tells Billboard.com. “When we came off ‘The Seeger Sessions,’ I had already started this record and had three or four things cut. I was dying to get back to work and I stared working and (Springsteen) started working … and then we knew we were coming close together and he wanted me to be able to put mine out before his. When I was younger I would probably have wanted more room to myself, but at this point it doesn’t matter.”

What it has meant, Scialfa says, is that “it’s been an exciting time at home because we’re both pretty busy. It feels like a great, creative time. It just feels very positive.”

As part of the E Street Band, of course, Scialfa appears on Springsteen’s album, which is expected out in October, while Springsteen plays guitar and organ on four “Play It As It Lays” tracks, including the first single, “Town Called Heartbreak.”

Scialfa wrote all 10 songs on the album, her first since 2004’s “23rd Street Lullaby,” and co-produced it with Steve Jordan and Ron Aiella. Besides Springsteen, players include E Streeters Nils Lofgren and Soozie Tyrell, as well as Jordan, bassist Willie Weeks and keyboardist Clifford Carter.

CM8ShowAd(”Middle”);

Scialfa has a number of TV appearances set for the week of the album’s release, but she says her own concerts will have to wait until “maybe in the new year,” during a break from a Springsteen tour that’s expected to be announced shortly.

She said his new songs “are going to be a lot of fun to play live,” but she plans to carve out time to give her material a live airing, too.

“I went out with ‘23rd Street Lullaby,’ and I had so much fun,” she says. “It was a really liberating experience for me. It’s fun after working alone on a record to take it out there. I’d like to do that with this one, too.”

Real World Bruce Springsteen

Published by benz under Bruce Videos Edit This

Great Song Lyrics Below

Stayed to this blog for upcoming Springsteen album Info

Mister Trouble come walkin’ this way
Year gone by feels like one long day
But I’m alive and I’m feelin’ all right
Well I run that hard road outta heartbreak city
Built a roadside carnival out of hurt and self-pity
It was all wrong well now I’m moving on

Ain’t no church bells ringing
Ain’t no flags unfurled
It’s just me and you and the love we’re bringing
Into the real world
Into the real world

I built a shrine in my heart it wasn’t pretty to see
Made out of fool’s gold memory and tears cried
Now I’m headin’ over the rise
I’m searchin’ for one clear moment of love and truth
I still got a little faith
But what I need is some proof tonight
I’m lookin’ for it in your eyes

Ain’t no church bells ringing
Ain’t no flags unfurled
Just me and you and the faith we’re bringing
Into the real world
Into the real world

Well tonight I just wanna shout
I feel my soul waist deep and sinkin’
Into this black river of doubt
I just wanna rise and walk along the riverside
And when the morning comes baby I don’t wanna hide
I’ll stand right at your side with my arms open wide

Well tonight I just wanna shout
I feel my soul waist deep and sinkin’
Into this black river of doubt
I just wanna rise and walk along the riverside
‘Til the morning comes
I’ll stand right by your side

I wanna find some answers I wanna ask for some help
I’m tired of running scared
Baby let’s get our bags packed
We’ll take it here to hell and heaven and back
And if love is hopeless hopeless at best
Come on put on your party dress it’s ours tonight
And we’re goin’ with the tumblin’ dice

Ain’t no church bells ringing
Ain’t no flags unfurled
It’s just me and you and the hope we’re bringing
Into the real world
Well into the real world
Oh into the real world

TERRY MAGOVERN, REST IN PEACE

It is with great sadness that we report that longtime Springsteen associate and close friend Terry Magovern, 67, passed away in his sleep on Monday night. For the last 20 years, Magovern could be seen regularly at Springsteen’s side. An imposing figure, seemingly the walking embodiment of “You better be good for goodness sake” wherever he accompanied Springsteen, Magovern had a kind and gracious nature, one pleasantly at odds with his professional image. Magovern began working for Springsteen in 1987, but the two had already known each other for decades by that point. They met at the Upstage in Asbury Park in the late ’60s; “Right from the first time I heard [Bruce] play,” Magovern told journalist Robert Santelli, “I believed in him and his music.” In 1971, as manager of the Captain’s Garter in Neptune, Magovern hired the Bruce Springsteen Band to play.In the years that followed, Magovern managed a number of Shore clubs, including Clarence Clemons’ Big Man’s West in Red Bank. By the time he went on the road with Springsteen for the Tunnel of Love Express Tour in 1988, he had a wealth of experience in the music business. He has been an intergral part of Springsteen’s work life ever since.

It would be hard to overestimate the impact Magovern’s loss will have on those with whom he worked, just as it’s hard to pin down what his job actually was. Magovern was “Road Manager” on the Tom Joad tour, “Personal Assistant” on the Rising tour… but just as often his official role was no more (and no less) than being himself, as in the multiple tourbooks that list the credit, “Terry Magovern: Terry Magovern.” Personal aide, liaison, researcher, reconnaissance man, right-hand man, right arm… Magovern played a larger role than we can probably know in helping Springsteen navigate the demands of his profession and get his music to the masses. And he touched many other lives along the way. Our hearts go out to all those who knew and loved him.

Magovern’s death follows that of his fiance, Joan Dancy, from ALS in 2005; after Dancy passed away, Magovern established an organization in her honor to help others who suffer from ALS. Donations, in lieu of flowers, will help that group’s continuing work: The Joan Dancy & PALS Support Group, Riverview Medical
